1948 Olympics

We have undertaken a number of interviews with people who have a local connection and remember the 1948 Olympics in London which were very different from the plans for 2012.

As part of the preparations for the next London Games, Waltham Forest Council commissioned us in 2007 to undertake interviews with local residents who visited the 1948 Games and in one instance actually took part as a competitor. In the next few months we will be developing an online publication with edited extracts of 1948 Olympic memories.
